The Winner of the 2010 Audience Choice Award Is…..

Rock of Ages

TAPA’s Audience Choice Award for Outstanding Production, co-sponsored by NOW Magazine and Yonge-Dundas Square, was handed out at the 31st Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards on Monday June 28, 2010. The public was invited to vote online from a list of Outstanding Production nominees in all divisions; or input their own favourite. Mirvish Productions was presented with a commemorative plaque.

Audience Choice Award

In honour of the celebratory theme of ‘our audience’ for the 2006 Dora Awards, TAPA inaugurated the Audience Choice Award for Outstanding Production. Facilitated and sponsored by NOW Magazine, the public was invited to vote online for a winner from the list of nominees in the General Theatre (Play and Musical), Independent Theatre, Opera and Theatre for Young Audiences Divisions; and Outstanding New Choreography in the Dance Division.
